It's A Boy!

So they tell me.

Went for the Ultra Screen today - which I didn't have to do with Dylan. This checks for the risk of Down Syndrome and two other chromosomal abnormalities Tri-Something or other-18 and -13. With Dylan, that was part of the quad screen I got at 16 weeks, but this is now what they do because the quad screen had too many false positives. So the baby's measurements look good, but they won't give me results until they get the bloodwork back (finger prick - yuck). The U/S Tech asked if we were going to find out what the baby was, and I told her about the whole fiasco the last time, so she said that was radiology, and their business here was babies (I got to go to the maternity ward in the hospital instead of yucky radiology for this) and that she could make a pretty good guess as to what the baby was. It was at that point (before she even drew the arrow or typed "BOY") that I knew.

The funny thing is, I had a dream last night that I was having a C section and the baby came out and he looked almost exactly like Dylan except a little different. Another little blond haired blue eyed boy.

Anyway, my results will be back in a few days, and the best is that I don't have to go to radiology for my 20 week ultrasound - I get to go back to the happy maternity place! Yay!

Oh - on a technical note, something is not working here with comments, but I'm aware and trying to fix it.
