Our pastures lay in the shelter of a steep hill that was once known as the location of a homemade astronomical observatory, a telescope placed in an old grain silo. The MAS observatory was first established in 1937 with a small roll off shed on a hilltop in New Berlin. Wisconsin has over 400 species of BIRDS and birdwatching is popular.
