Necisito Dormir
Things I've learned about babies this week:
- babies with ear infections don't sleep well. Even if you stuff towels under their mattress to prop it up on one end so they're not lying flat on their backs so everything can drain.
- babies do not like saline sprayed up their nose and then bulb squigies used to suck the saline (and any snots up there) out.
- when you prop a mattress up on one end and lay a baby on it, inevitably the baby will end up schrunched up at the low end of the mattress.
- babies don't like, nor will they sleep through, being schrunched up at the low end of a mattress.
- when taking a temperature rectally, the same rules apply as when changing a poop. If you don't cover it, you will get peed on.
- taking a temperature rectally has about a 50% chance of causing a poop.
Dylan is in daycare, after having been on antibiotics for over 24 hours. I am at work, after not having slept much since Saturday night. I can't think enough to write something that makes sense.

Poor kid. Not only did you suck his brains out through his nose with the bulb squigy, but then you stuck a thermometer up his tailpipe. No wonder he's cranky.

I did win a gold medal in boogie removal by bulb syringe in 2004 if you hadn't heard. And just think... you hadn't even heard of that event before May of this year!!!!!!!! Hang in there :)
HUGS to Dylan...

Uh oh, that sounds horrible! How can you even manage to THINK of work, much less GO there! *cuddles to both of you*
